Meet Sue

Hi, I’m Sue, a fully qualified and BACP-registered person-centred counsellor with a BA Hons in Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Relationships from Warwick University. My passion is helping people navigate life's challenges, offering a compassionate, non-judgmental space to explore your feelings.

I was born and brought up in the Black Country, moving to Worcestershire then Warwickshire in my 20’s. Having always worked in jobs that have involved helping people or animals I started my counselling training in 2002, completing an introduction course at NEW College Bromsgrove. Life happened and I didn’t resume studying until 2019, attending Solihull College part-time gaining a level 2 certificate in Counselling Studies and a level 3 diploma in Counselling Skills. Following on I have completed four years at Warwick University finishing with a Ba Hons in Person-Centred Counselling and the Psychotherapeutic Relationship.

I work as a mentor for a charity called Young Minds Matter supporting children and young people in a local secondary school as well as online. I’m a volunteer and trustee of a local wellbeing centre supporting mental health issues.
